Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A 30.2 inch high will linger just off the New England coast through Saturday, before slowly weakening while drifting to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence Sunday. A 29.5 inch area of low pressure will develop over the western Great Lakes Sunday night into Monday, before strengthening to 29.3 inches while moving southeast into the lower Great Lakes region Monday night and Tuesday. A cold front associated with this low will swing across the Lake late Tuesday and Tuesday night. The low will then weaken to 29.6 inches while drifting east into New England by Wednesday.
