For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.7 inch low just south of Long Island this morning
will drift northeast along the New England coast through Tuesday
while filling to 29.8 inches. This low will finally dissipate over
the North Atlantic Wednesday as a 30.1 inch high builds to just off
the Mid Atlantic coast. A cold front over the upper Great Lakes
Wednesday night will cross the lower Great Lakes Thursday night. A
30.4 inch high is then forecast to build into the upper Great Lakes
Friday and the lower Great Lakes by Saturday.

.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. Showers
likely Thursday night. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Showers likely during
