For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.6 inch low over the western Great Lakes this
evening will track toward the central Great Lakes Wednesday, then
track into eastern Ontario through Wednesday night while deepening
to 29.4 inches. A cold front from this low will rush across the lake
Wednesday afternoon. The 29.4 inch surface low will then track well
north of the lake Thursday and Friday, as a 30.4 inch surface high
builds into the mid Mississippi Valley Friday and to the Ohio Valley
Saturday. Another surface low will cut northeastward through the
Central Great Lakes Sunday, deepening from 29.6 inches Sunday
morning to 29.4 inches Sunday night over western Quebec.

1 to 2 feet building to 8 to 11 feet. Waves occasionally around
14 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest gales to 35 knots increasing to 40 knots.
Lake effect rain showers early, then lake effect rain showers
with lake effect snow showers likely. Waves 10 to 14 feet
building to 11 to 16 feet. Waves occasionally around 20 feet.
.THURSDAY...West gales to 40 knots. Rain and snow showers likely.
Waves 13 to 18 feet. Waves occasionally around 23 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West gales to 35 knots diminishing to 30 knots
overnight. Snow showers with rain showers likely in the evening,
then snow showers overnight. Waves 10 to 15 feet. Waves
occasionally around 19 feet.
.FRIDAY...West gales to 35 knots becoming northwest and
diminishing to 15 to 25 knots. Snow showers during the day, then
a chance of snow showers Friday night. Waves 9 to 13 feet
subsiding to 4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 16 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southeast. Snow
showers Saturday night. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet.
