For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
A broad surface low and cold front draped from southern Ontario to
western Pennsylvania will slowly pivot eastward to the upper Saint
Lawrence Valley and central New York through early this evening. The
surface low will then redevelop and lift northeastward off the mid-
Atlantic and New England coastlines tonight through Wednesday
night...while a slowly weakening inverted trough lingers across
eastern New York and western New England. A weak 30.0 inch high will
then build eastward across the lower Great Lakes Thursday and
Friday...before sliding out across New England Saturday.

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to
20 knots. A chance of showers and thunderstorms early, then a
chance of showers late this evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet building
to 2 to 4 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. A chance of showers from late morning on. Waves 3 to
5 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of
showers in the evening. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY...North winds 5 to 15 knots becoming west. Waves 1 to
3 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 knots or less becoming northwest.
