For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure averaging 30.0 inches will
build across the lower Great Lakes today. The ridge exits eastward
tonight before a cold front sweeps eastward across Lake Ontario on
Wednesday. Behind the front, a ridge averaging 30.1 inches builds
from the western Great Lakes through Friday. This ridge should exit
eastward Friday night through Saturday and allow a warm front to
drift northward across Lake Ontario.
