For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low will track from Lake Superior this
afternoon to central New England by early Sunday morning. As the low
tracks just north of the Lake, it will push an attendant warm front
across the Lake this afternoon, followed by a cold front crossing
the Lake tonight. This low will deepen further to 28.9 inches over
northern New England Sunday before moving to the Canadian Maritimes
Monday, then north to Labrador Tuesday. A 30.3 inch high will then
build from the upper Great Lakes Tuesday to the lower Great Lakes
Wednesday, then to New England Thursday.

Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west to
30 knots. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms early, then a
chance of showers late in the evening. A chance of showers late.
Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 10 to 13 feet. Waves occasionally
around 16 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to 30 knots. A
chance of rain showers in the morning, then a chance of rain and
snow showers in the afternoon. Waves 10 to 13 feet. Waves
occasionally around 16 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots. A chance of snow
showers. Waves 7 to 11 feet subsiding to 5 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 14 feet.

diminishing to 15 to 20 knots. A chance of snow showers during
