669 FZUS61 KBUF 151736 GLFLO Open Lake Forecast for Lake Ontario National Weather Service Buffalo NY 1236 PM EST Sat Nov 15 2025 For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low will track from Lake Superior this afternoon to central New England by early Sunday morning. As the low tracks just north of the Lake, it will push an attendant warm front across the Lake this afternoon, followed by a cold front crossing the Lake tonight. This low will deepen further to 28.9 inches over northern New England Sunday before moving to the Canadian Maritimes Monday, then north to Labrador Tuesday. A 30.3 inch high will then build from the upper Great Lakes Tuesday to the lower Great Lakes Wednesday, then to New England Thursday.
