For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch high will persist across the Lake tonight. A
29.7 inch surface low will deepen to 29.5 inches as it tracks from
the Ohio Valley to New England Sunday and Monday, then will
strengthen further while moving north across Quebec Tuesday. Another
29.2 inch low will move north of the Great Lakes region Wednesday.
West-northwest flow will persist across the eastern Great Lakes
region Thursday, while a 30.2 inch high moves from the northern
Plains to the southern Ohio Valley.

20 knots. A chance of rain late this evening. Rain after
midnight. Waves 1 to 2 feet building to 2 to 4 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Rain in the morning,
then rain and snow in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 6 feet building
to 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 25 knots. Snow showers. Waves
5 to 8 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
.MONDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest. A chance
of snow showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west.
Snow showers likely. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.TUESDAY...West winds to 30 knots becoming southwest. Snow
showers likely with a chance of rain showers during the day, then
rain showers Tuesday night. Waves 6 to 9 feet building to 7 to
11 feet. Waves occasionally around 14 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West gales to 35 knots. Showers. Waves 8 to 11 feet
building to 9 to 13 feet, then subsiding to 7 to 10 feet. Waves
occasionally around 16 feet.
.THURSDAY...West gales to 35 knots diminishing to 30 knots.
Showers likely. Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding to 5 to 8 feet.
