For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.3 inch high over the Mississippi Valley will
advance eastward across the Ohio Valley and mid-Atlantic states
Tuesday. An area of low pressure will pass to the west and north of
the Lake Wednesday, deepening from 29.8 inches down to 29.4 inches
through the day. Following this low, another 30.3 inch surface high
will reestablish over the lake for Thursday. The surface high will
then track east off the Atlantic Coast through Friday allowing for
another cold frontal passage. A 29.4 inch low near James Bay will
drag its cold front across the lake Friday night into Saturday.
