...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Localized flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

* WHERE...West Central La Salle County in north central Illinois...

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and
  streets may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1155 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    localized rainfall in excess of 4 inches. Minor flooding is
    possibly occurring in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tonica and Lostant.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
