...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM WEDNESDAY TO 10 PM
CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...West gales to 45 kt with a few storm force gusts to 50
  kt and significant waves to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft
  expected.

* WHERE...Illinois and Indiana nearshore from Winthrop Harbor IL
  to Michigan City IN.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Wednesday to 10 PM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The largest waves will be in northwestern
  Indiana, especially near and east of Michigan City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
