...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...

* WHAT...Dense fog will reduce visibility to less than 1 NM.

* WHERE...Winthrop Harbor to Calumet Harbor IL.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT today.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility will make navigation difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An area of dense fog is advancing south
  down Lake Michigan this morning, reducing visibility on the
  lake. The dense fog is expected to linger along the IL nearshore
  through late morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
