...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST /10 PM EST/ THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and
  northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CST /10 PM EST/ this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects,
  including holiday decorations. Tree limbs could be blown down and
  a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles on north to south
  roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Sporadic localized gusts up to 55 to 60 mph
  are possible during the day on Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Secure lightweight outdoor objects, including holiday decorations
and furniture.  Use plenty of extra caution when driving a high
profile vehicle.
