* Special Marine Warning for...

  Nearshore Waters from Gary to Michigan City...
  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 244 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Gary to 6 nm northeast of Valparaiso to 17 nm
  south of Michigan City, moving north at 45 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Michigan City, Marina Shores at Dune Harbor, and Burns Harbor
  around 250 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for northwestern
Indiana...and the adjacent waters of Lake Michigan.
