...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN COOK COUNTY THROUGH
115 PM CDT...

At 1246 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Riverdale to Flossmoor. Movement was northeast
at 15 mph. Some rotation has been observed with these storms. Brief
funnel clouds or even a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. Very
heavy rainfall is also occurring.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Chicago, Hammond, Calumet City, Chicago Heights, South Shore,
Roseland, Lansing, Harvey, Blue Island, Munster, Dolton, Park Forest,
Homewood, Matteson, Chatham, Hyde Park, South Holland, South Deering,
Hazel Crest, Riverdale, Markham, Flossmoor, Lynwood, Glenwood, and
Posen.
