...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LA SALLE...
SOUTHEASTERN LEE AND SOUTHWESTERN DE KALB COUNTIES THROUGH 215 PM
CDT...

At 143 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Sublette to near Mendota
to Granville. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
North Utica, Compton, Oglesby, Triumph, West Brooklyn, Prairie
Center, Mendota, Paw Paw, Earlville, Troy Grove, La Salle, Peru, and
Cedar Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central Illinois.
