...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN DE KALB AND
NORTHWESTERN KANE COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM CDT...

At 210 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sycamore, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
DeKalb, Sycamore, Virgil, Burlington, Hampshire, Cortland, Kingston,
Genoa, Lily Lake, and Huntley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central and northeastern Illinois.
