The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Jasper County in northwestern Indiana...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 709 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hanging
  Grove, or 10 miles east of Rensselaer, moving southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hanging Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
