...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves 6 to 10 feet with dangerous rip
currents. Tidal overflow will flood some normally dry beach
  areas.

* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara
  County Central Coast Beaches.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large
breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
rocks, and capsize small boats near shore. Pooling of sea water
is possible around high tide at beach and harbor areas that is
uncommon with normal tidal ranges. Enhanced beach erosion is
also possible. No significant damage is expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tides of 7.2 to 7.8 feet MLLW will
occur between 6 and 10am each morning. Minor coastal flooding
will persist through Saturday due to the very large high tides.
A Beach Hazard Statement will likely to be issued following the
expiration of this High Surf Advisory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay
near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in
such conditions, stay off the rocks.
