Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 12Z or 5 AM PDT, a 1028 mb surface high was
about 650 NM W of Portland, while a 1006 mb thermal low was located
over southern Nevada. Gusty northwest winds and steep, choppy seas
will affect much of the waters over the next several days.
