.DISCUSSION...
Another storm will bring rain and high elevation snow to the area
Thursday and Friday, and possibly into early Saturday across LA County.
Rain amounts are expected to range from a half to one inch most coast and
valleys, and 1-2 inches in the mountains. There is a 20-30% chance that
rain amounts will be twice that amount. Highest amounts will be south of
Pt Conception. Thunderstorms are possible, mainly in LA County Thursday
night into early Friday morning when rain rates up to a half inch per hour
are possible, especially southeast LA County. Snow levels will be around
6000 feet with up to 8 inches of snow possible at higher elevations. A
long period of dry weather will begin Saturday and last through the week
of Thanksgiving.
