.DISCUSSION...
Offshore winds brought drying conditions to the region today with elevated fire
weather concerns. The offshore winds will continue to weaken through the evening.
In advance of an approaching weather system on Monday, there will be increasing
southerly winds, especially in the mountains.
There is the potential for a significant storm system that could bring
widespread rain to the region between Monday night and Tuesday.
The latest projections have rainfall rates increasing, with a chance of
strong to locally severe thunderstorms. A Flood Watch is in effect
for the recent burn scar, where there is the potential for high inensity
short duration rainfall that could trigger debris flows.
