.DISCUSSION...
Moderately hot and dry conditions will continue through next week.
Temperatures will peak through Thursday when high temperatures between 95
and 105 will be common over most valleys and mountains. Minimum
humidities will lower to between 15 and 30 percent. Meanwhile, mixing
heights over 10,000 feet will continue over interior areas and moderate
Sundowner winds will affect southwest Santa Barbara County tonight and
Thursday Night. This will bring an elevated risk for fast moving fires.
There is a 10-20 percent chance of monsoonal showers and thunderstorms
over the mountains and deserts of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties between
Friday and Sunday, highest on Friday.
