...GUSTY OFFSHORE WINDS EXPECTED FOR LA/VENTURA COUNTIES TODAY
AND AGAIN WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY...
.DISCUSSION...
Offshore winds with gusts between 30 and 45 mph will continue
today, mainly impacting the typical wind prone areas of LA/Ventura
counties, with humidities falling to between 15 and 35 percent.
Offshore flow is expected to weaken some on Tuesday, and expected to
restrengthen on Wednesday and continue into Thursday morning as the
next low pressure system passes to the east. At this time, the
strongest offshore winds are expected to be focused across
the LA county mountains where gusts of 50 to 60 mph will be possible,
with gusts in the 30 to 50 mph range for the remainder of the
typical wind prone areas of LA/Ventura counties. Otherwise dry
and mild conditions into next weekend.
