AND DESERTS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY DUE TO HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WITH
INCREASED RISK FOR LARGE PLUME DOMINATED FIRE BEHAVIOR...
.DISCUSSION...
High pressure aloft will slowly build over the region by Monday
and persist through most of THE week, brining warmer and drier conditions
away from the immediate coast. Temperatures could climb to between 100 and
105 degrees across hottest portions of the valleys, lower mountains, and deserts
from Tuesday through at least Friday. This combined with lower humidities,
and the increased risk for large plume dominated fire behavior will bring
widespread elevated fire weather conditions for the valleys, mountains,
and deserts from at least Monday through Friday. There is more uncertainty
in the forecast for next weekend, but there is the potential for the heat
to persist across the interior.
