MODERATE BY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ACROSS LA/VENTURA COUNTIES...
.DISCUSSION...
A weak front will bring a slight chance of rain to San Luis Obispo
County today, otherwise dry conditions this week. West to northwest wind
gusts of 20 to 30 mph will affect the coastal areas today. Northwest to
northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 25 to 35 mph will affect
many mountain areas tonight through Thursday, including the Santa Ynez and
Santa Lucia Ranges. Humidites will stay above 25 percent except 15 to 25
percent in some mountain areas. Temperatures will warm each day and get
into the mid 70s to mid 80s by Thursday. Offshore winds are likely to
strengthen Friday and Saturday, possibly reaching a weak to moderate Santa
Ana wind status. Temperatures will warm further at the coast. Large tides
and high surf will bring moderate coastal flooding Saturday through
Tuesday.
