Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Southwestern California
National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA
250 PM PST Mon Nov 17 2025

...PERIODS OF RAIN EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY WITH ANOTHER POSSIBLE
STORM LATE WEEK...

.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will continue to push into LA county late this afternoon and
evening bringing moderate to locally heavy rain with a slight chance of
thunderstorms. Brief heavy donwpours could cause additional flooding of
roadways, rockslides, and debris flows in burn scars. In addition, convective
lines of storms could bring down numerous trees in LA county through
this evening. A cold and unstable air mass will continue to bring the
threat of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms through Tuesday.
Another storm may impact the region on Thursday and Friday, but
there remains considerable uncertainty in terms of timing, amounts,
and rates.
