...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR INTERIOR AREAS FRIDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY...
.DISCUSSION...
Steady warming and drying to around normal on tap through Thursday or Friday,
with little change to follow through early next week. High temperatures
over the interior between 90 and 100 will be common, with minimum
humidities of 5 to 15 percent. On the coastal side of the mountains, the
marine layer will continue to moderate conditions, with highs of 78 to
88 common and humidities staying above 35 percent. Weaker than usual
onshore flow will persist through Thursday, but will increase to around
normal on Friday and chance little through Sunday. Gusts of 20 to 40 mph
will be common over the interior each afternoon and evening, resulting
in elevated fire weather conditions.
