...CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THIS EVENING...
...ANOTHER STORM WILL IMPACT THE AREA ON THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...
.DISCUSSION...
An upper level low will move across the area today and tonight. The cold
and unstable air mass associated with the upper low will bring the chance
of showers and isolated thunderstorms to the area through this evening.
Brief heavy downpours and gusty winds will be possible with any
thunderstorms.
After a dry day on Wednesday, another storm will impact the area during
the Thursday through Friday night time frame. At this time, there still
remains considerable uncertainty in the exact details of this storm.
Current rainfall forecasts are for generally between 0.25 and 0.75
inches with local amounts up to around 1.25 across the mountains and
foothills.
