...Discussion from Monterey...

Isolated rain shower activity will continue through the morning with
dry conditions expected by daybreak or shortly there after. A
warming and drying trend begins today and lasts  through Saturday.
Temperatures today will be 10-20 degrees below  normal and return to
near normal by Saturday. Light northerly  winds will develop
Thursday, giving way to light offshore winds  Friday and Saturday.
The recent widespread wetting rainfall will  keep fire weather
concerns minimal during this time.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...GUSTY OFFSHORE FLOW THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

Gradual warming and drying will continue each day into Saturday.
High  temperatures will rise from 60 to 70 today to 75 to 85 by
Saturday.  Minimum humidities will fall from 40 to 60 percent today
to 15 to 30  percent by Saturday. Northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph
with gusts to 40 mph  will form Wednesday Night over southwest Santa
Barbara County and the I-5  Corridor. Winds will shift to the
northeast and weaken some on Thursday,  but will stay northeast on
Friday and likely strengthen back up to 15 to  25 mph with gusts to
35 mph.
