A return of onshore flow has brought a cooling trend across coastal areas today, however interior areas remain warm and dry. Dry and gradually cooler weather will persist Saturday and Sunday, with a return of marine layer low clouds and fog across coastal areas during the night and morning hours. Breezy offshore winds are expected Monday, mainly impacting the typical wind prone areas of LA/Ventura counties, with humidities falling to between 15 and 35 percent. A cold upper level low pressure system will bring a chance of showers to the region Wednesday into Thursday, however, some model solutions keep the system further east with a drier and windier solution. NOTE...Beginning Monday December 1, NWS WFO Los Angeles/Oxnard will enter the off-season fire weather schedule (one fire weather planning forecast issued by 330 PM Monday through Friday...and by 930 AM on Mondays and/or the first day following any federal holiday). However spot forecasts will be available upon request at any time 24/7. In addition, if critical fire weather conditions occur we will restore normal fire weather season operations. $$ ECC028-291700- Santa Barbara County excluding Los Padres National Forest- Discussion for Santa Barbara ECC Dispatch 250 PM PST Fri Nov 28 2025 ...GUSTY OFFSHORE WINDS EXPECTED FOR LA/VENTURA COUNTIES ON MONDAY...
