gusts in excess of 60 mph are possible along the coast, mountain
ridgetop, and within favored gaps and passes. Winds peak Wednesday
night into Thursday morning before easing by late Thursday. Light
rain and unsettled conditions will persist into early next week.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY ACROSS WIND PRONE AREAS OF
LA/VENTURA COUNTIES DUE TO GUSTY SANTA ANA WINDS WITH VERY WARM AND
DRY CONDITIONS...

...POTENTIAL STORM SYSTEM TO IMPACT SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA LATER THIS
WEEK, WITH BULK OF RAINFALL LIKELY THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT...

Gusty Santa Ana winds will continue to impact typical wind prone
areas of LA/Ventura counties today, Speeds of 10 to 15 mph with
gusts to 25 will continue this aftrnoon across the wind prone areas
of LA/Ventura counties. Humidities have lowered to between 10 and
20 percent today across the LA/Ventura county mountains/ valleys.
High temperatures of 85 to 95 degrees will be common today. The
combination of very warm temperatures, gusty offshore winds, and low
humidities will bring elevated fire weather conditions to wind prone
areas of LA/Ventura counties through the afternoon. A storm system
will likely affect southwest California sometime between Wednesday
night and Friday, with Thursday and Thursday night likely bringing
the bulk of the rainfall. Rainfall rates may be sufficiently high to
bring flash flooding and debris flow concerns to recent burn scars.
