...Discussion from Monterey...

Upper level ridging and high pressure keep the upcoming forecast
relatively stable through the remainder of the week. Foggy
conditions overnight/morning conditions remain likely for the North
Bay and East Bay as Tule Fog is advected in from the Central Valley.
Coastal stratus and fog remain possible as a shallow (500 ft)
marine layer attempts to redevelop by late this week. Light,
offshore winds continue through the rest of this week with hazy
conditions expected across the interior.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

...EXTENDED PERIOD OF UNSEASONABLY WARM TEMPERATURES WITH GUSTY NORTH
TO NORTHEAST WINDS AT TIMES THROUGH FRIDAY...

...POTENTIAL WARM-UP AGAIN EARLY NEXT WEEK...

Through Friday, there is high confidence in an extended period of
unseasonably warm temperatures in the upper 70s and 80s across many
coastal and valley areas. Periods of north to northeast winds of
15 to 30 mph with gusts 25 to 40 mph across wind prone areas of all
four counties will continue through at least Wednesday morning.
Isolated gusts in the 40 to 50 mph will be likely across the wind
favored foothills and mountains. Humidities between 10 and
20 percent will be common into Wednesday. Some cooling is expected
this weekend with some improvement in humidities, then another
warm-up will be possible early next week.

NOTE...Beginning Sunday Dec 1...NWS WFO Los Angeles/Oxnard will
enter the off-season fire weather schedule (one fire weather
planning forecast issued by 330 PM Monday through Friday...and by
930 AM on Mondays and/or the first day following any federal
holiday). However spot forecasts will be available upon request at
any time 24/7.In addition...if critical fire weather conditions
occur we will restore normal fire weather season operations.
