Low fire weather threat continues. Rain chances  return late Monday
night through Tuesday across the Bay Area, with the Central Coast
seeing rain chances return late Tuesday and  Wednesday. Rainfall
looks to be mainly beneficial. Another round  of rain returns for
the end of the work week into the upcoming  weekend.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...GUSTY NORTH WINDS THIS WEEK, PEAKING ON WEDNESDAY...

High pressure aloft, warm and dry conditions, with gusty north to
northeast winds will be common through Thursday or Friday. High
temperatures between 75 and 85 will be common, including coastal
areas.  Minimum humidities of 15 to 30 percent will be common,
except for local 8  to 15 percent in the driest mountains and
valleys. Tuesday will be the  driest. North to northeast winds will
affect the wind prone areas of all  four counties, peaking Wednesday
at 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph with winds pushing down from
the mountains through the coasts. Onshore flow  will return by
Friday afternoon with cooling through the weekend. While  dry
weather is certain through this week, there is a high chance a
winter  storm in the December 23 through Christmas Day window. There
is a wide  range of outcomes this far out, but there is at least a
20 percent chance  of a stronger storm.
