...PERIODS OF RAIN EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY WITH ANOTHER
POSSIBLE STORM LATE WEEK...

Another storm is expected to bring periods of rain and a slight
chance of thunderstorms late tonight through Tuesday. The bulk of
the rainfall is expected on Monday associated with the cold front,
but scattered showers will be likely Monday night into Tuesday.
Additional rain amounts of 1 to 2 inches are projected with this
storm, with local amounts to 3 inches possible in the Santa Ynez
mountains. With very wet grounds, this additional rainfall will
likely cause additional roadway/small stream flooding as well as
rockslides. There could also be a few inches of snow at the higher
mountain elevations. Another storm may impact the region on Thursday
and Friday, but there remains considerable uncertainty in terms of
timing, amounts, and rates.
