...Discussion from Monterey...

Fire weather concerns are low with recent widespread rainfall and
several more opportunities for beneficial rainfall area-wide through
the extended forecast. Along with the expected rainfall,
temperatures will also be below normal through the extended
forecast. Tuesday and the first half of Wednesday offer a brief
window of drier conditions before another system moves on shore by
Wednesday night.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

...PERIODS OF RAIN EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY WITH ANOTHER
POSSIBLE STORM LATE WEEK...

A cold front will continue to push into LA county late this
afternoon and evening bringing moderate to locally heavy rain with a
slight chance of thunderstorms. Brief heavy donwpours could cause
additional flooding of roadways, rockslides, and debris flows in
burn scars. In addition, convective lines of storms could bring down
numerous trees in LA county through this evening. A cold and
unstable air mass will continue to bring the threat of scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms through Tuesday. Another storm
may impact the region on Thursday and Friday, but there remains
considerable uncertainty in terms of timing, amounts, and rates.
