.DISCUSSION...High pressure aloft will reestablish and build in the
Four Corners region over the weekend and linger into late next week.
A warming trend will develop through early next week, likely peaking
on Tuesday. The latest forecast ensembles suggest a slight chance of
showers and thunderstorms as an easterly wave could propagate
through the south side of the ridge. While low confidence exists in the
materializing, patterns like the setup mentioned, could bring very
warm and humid conditions with sprinkles or light showers and
isolated thunderstorms to the San Gabriel Valley.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (35-45 percent). A 10-20 percent
                    chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Max temperature.....92-96 degrees.
Min humidity........41-45 percent.
Eye level winds.....Wind variable 3 mph or less until 1100 hours
                    becoming southwest 3 to 6 mph with gusts to
                    9 mph.
