Hot and dry conditions will persist today, with slight cooling and moistening expected on Tuesday. The hot conditions will result in deep mixing heights each afternoon, highest over the eastern sections of the burn area. Some monsoonal moisture will move into the area later tonight into Tuesday, accounting for the rise in minimum humidities on Tuesday. While better chances of shower and thunderstorm activity will be south and east of the fire location, there is a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms from late tonight into Tuesday morning.
