...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PDT TUESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions will persist through Labor Day, with some
cooling and moistening expected on Tuesday. The hot conditions will
result in deep mixing heights each afternoon, highest over the
eastern sections of the burn area. Some monsoonal moisture will move
into the area Monday night into Tuesday, accounting for the rise in
minimum humidities on Tuesday. However, any chances of showers or
thunderstorms will remain well east of the area.

.LABOR DAY...

Sky/weather.........Sunny (0-5 percent).
Max temperature.....96-103.
Min humidity........13-15 percent.
Eye level winds.....East winds 3 to 6 mph becoming southwest
                    5 to 6 mph with gusts to 10 mph in the
                    afternoon.
Wind (20 ft)........East to southeast winds 8 to 10 mph with local
                    gusts to 18 mph becoming southwest 9 to 12 mph
                    with gusts to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Ridgetop wind.......Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph becoming southwest
                    10 to 15 mph with gusts to 20 mph.
Mixing height.......1400 ft AGL rising to 13000 ft AGL in the
                    afternoon.
Transport winds.....East 5 to 8 mph becoming south to southwest
                    5 to 10 mph.

Sky/weather.........Mostly clear (5-15 percent).
Min temperature.....64-74, warmest eastern sections.
Max humidity........50-60 percent, except 35-40 percent eastern
                    sections.

                    variable/ downslope 1 to 3 mph.
