Hot and dry conditions will persist through Labor Day, with some cooling and moistening expected on Tuesday. The hot conditions will result in deep mixing heights each afternoon, highest over the eastern sections of the burn area. Some monsoonal moisture will move into the area Monday night into Tuesday, accounting for the rise in minimum humidities on Tuesday. However, any chances of showers or thunderstorms will remain well east of the area. .LABOR DAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny (0-5 percent). Max temperature.....96-103. Min humidity........13-15 percent. Eye level winds.....East winds 3 to 6 mph becoming southwest 5 to 6 mph with gusts to 10 mph in the afternoon.
