...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...
Warm to hot conditions will continue for the burn area through
Wednesday, however the areas will trend slightly less dry as
monsoonal moisture surges in from the south. A slight chance of
showers and thunderstorms will persist through today, and there is a
non-zero chance of storms tomorrow as well. Storms may bring
lighting, gusty/erratic winds, and rainfall. The southeasterly
portion of the fire is at the greatest risk. The chance of wetting
rain remains low (less than 10 percent). An offshore east-
northeasterly wind shift is expected late tonight through tomorrow
morning, which will result in a few degrees of warming for Wednesday
and higher mixing heights in the afternoon.
