* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, northwest winds 30 to 40 mph
  with gusts up to 65 mph. For the Heat Advisory, high temperatures
  in the upper 80s to mid 90s, warmest in the foothills.

* WHERE...Santa Barbara County Southwestern Coast and Santa Ynez
  Mountains Western Range.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, until 11 AM PDT Monday. For the
  Heat Advisory, until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially
  for drivers of high profile vehicles. High temperatures may cause
  heat illnesses, including heat stroke.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In very windy conditions, watch for falling debris and tree limbs.
Use extra caution if you must drive.

In the heat, drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids, stay in an
air-conditioned room if possible, stay out of the sun, and check up
on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities. Take action
when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Anyone
overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat
stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

  west of Santa Barbara.

  Mountains Eastern Range.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, until 11 AM PDT this morning.
