At 111 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sylmar, or 7 miles northeast of Northridge, moving northeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. Brief heavy downpour.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Trees may fall more easily due to
         saturated soil.
