Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.2 inch high pressure system will gradually drift
east across the Great Lakes Basin today. Low pressure averaging
29.6 inches will move from northern Manitoba into northern Quebec
over the weekend. A 29.5 inch low pressure will move from the
Upper Midwest into Ontario Sunday night and Monday, which will
push a cold front across Lake Superior. Weak ridging at 29.8
inches follows over the Upper Great Lakes Tuesday as a 29.2 inch
low develops over southern Manitoba. This system will pull a 29.5
inch trough through Lake Superior Tuesday night into Wednesday.
