Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... 28.9 inch low pressure currently analyzed over central Lake Huron moves into Quebec today while further deepening to 28.8 inches. Meanwhile, a strong high pressure of at least 30.6 inches is expanding across the Great Plains. A 29.7 inch trough dives southeast into the Upper Great Lakes late Tuesday. Weak ridging of around 30.0 inches on Wednesday will be followed up by additional 29.6-29.7inch shortwaves skirting the region the rest of the work week.
