For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

Ridging has weakened to 29.9 inches over Lake Superior this morning
as the 30.1 parent high over the Lower Great Lakes the rest of this
morning through early this afternoon continues east towards the
Atlantic. A deep 29.3 inch low over the northern Canadian
territories and provinces is projected to extend a 29.7 inch trough
south through the Plains today. Pressure falls to 29.7 inches over
Lake Superior tonight and continues to deepen to 29.6 inches on
Wednesday as the deep Canadian low strengthens to 29.0 inches over
Hudson Bay Wednesday afternoon. 29.8 inch troughing lingers over the
lake on Thursday between this low and another 29.7 low over the
Southern Plains. High pressure then builds to 30.3 inches over the
Northern Plains Thursday night into Friday before shifting east into
the Great Lakes Friday night and Saturday. In it`s wake, a weak 30.0
inch Clipper brings 30.0 inch troughing over Lake Superior Saturday
night into Sunday.
