Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A low around 29.3 inches skirts by Lake Winnipeg into northern
Ontario Monday night into early Tuesday, bringing 29.7 inch
troughing over Lake Superior. 30.2 inch high pressure develops over
the Northern Plains on Tuesday, strengthening to 30.4 inches as it
crosses the Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday. High pressure ridging of
30.2 to 30.3 inches then looks to remain over Lake Superior through
the rest of the workweek.
