508 FZUS63 KMQT 271401 GLFLS Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior National Weather Service Marquette MI 1000 AM EDT Sat Jun 27 2026 For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... Through this afternoon, 30.1 inch high will extend from the Upper Great Lakes to eastern Hudson Bay while low pressure of at least 29.5 inches develops over the High Plains. Into Sunday morning, the low consolidates to around 29.4 inches over southern Saskatchewan as the high retreats to Hudson Bay, remaining at 30.1 inches. The low pushes into Manitoba and the Dakotas early Monday morning while the high shifts southeast to just east of the Lower Great Lakes. Tuesday into Wednesday, the low moves through northern Ontario at around 29.5 inches as 30.1 inch high pressure extends over much of the East Coast. By Thursday morning, the low will move east through Quebec while 30.1 inch high pressure builds south of the Great Lakes.
