For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

Expect weak high pressure ridging of 29.9 inches over Lake Superior
tonight with 30.1 inch ridging upstream over the Canadian Prairies
and Southern Plains. By Thursday afternoon, Lake Superior is
projected to be between a 29.4 inch low over Hudson Bay, a 29.4 inch
low over the mouth of the St. Lawrence River, a low of 29.7 inches
over the Black Hills, a high of 30.1 inches over Oklahoma, and a
weak 29.9 inch high over the Saskatchewan/Manitoba line. The Hudson
Bay and Black Hills lows work to pass a 29.7 inch trough over Lake
Superior Friday, strengthening to 29.6 inches by Friday night into
Saturday before the lows consolidate over western Quebec by late
Saturday. High pressure ridging builds back up to 30.1 inches over
Lake Superior by Sunday as the parent high strengthens over the
Canadian Prairies and Northern Plains.
