For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A broad area of 30.3 inch high pressure over northeast Ontario today
shifts northeast toward northern Quebec tonight while a 29.4 inch
low deepens to 29.3 inches over northern Saskatchewan and a 29.3
inch nor`easter churns off the coast of Long Island. Sunday, Lake
Superior will be between the 30.3 inch high over the Canadian
Maritimes, the Canadian low over the Manitoba/Nunuvut line at 29.5
inches, the nor`easter over New Jersey at 29.7 inches, and a high
pressure movign from the Rockies to the Dakotas at 30.1 inches. The
latter high moves directly over the lake Monday as a 29.7 inch low
develops over Colorado. This low ejects northeast late Monday
through Tuesday, reaching northern Ontario at 29.7 inches late
Tuesday. Wednesday, Lake Superior will be between a 29.5 inch low
over northern Manitoba and a 30.1 inch high off the coast of the
Carolinas. Thursday, the low will cross Hudson Bay, dragging along a
29.7 inch trough across Lake Superior.
