Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

This morning, a 30.2 inch high extends from Lake Superior to
southern Hudson Bay, weakening to 30.1 inches as it moves over the
Ontario/Quebec line. By Monday morning, a 29.8 inch low will be
developing over the Dakotas, deepening to 29.7 inches as it moves
over Lake Superior early Tuesday morning. The low further deepens to
29.4 inches Tuesday evening as it moves from northern Ontario to
Quebec. Wednesday, another low moves across the Great Lakes at
around 29.7 inches. Thursday, as the low deepens to 29.6 inches over
Lake Ontario, a 30.0 inch ridge moves over northern Ontario,
reaching James Bay by Friday morning.
