Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.3 inch low currently over Manitoba moves to southern Hudson Bay
at 29.4 inches by this afternoon, bringing 29.7 inch troughing
across Lake Superior. Meanwhile, 30.2 inch high pressure develops
over the Northern Plains this afternoon, strengthening to 30.4
inches as it crosses the Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday. High
pressure ridging of 30.2 to 30.3 inches then looks to remain over
Lake Superior through the rest of the workweek.
