Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

Weak troughing of around 29.7 inches over Lake Superior this morning
deepens to 29.5 inches by this evening as a 29.4 inch low remains
over Hudson Bay. The trough pushes east into Quebec by Saturday
afternoon as 30.3 inch high pressure builds over the Canadian
Prairie this weekend. The high shifts east to the Great Lakes at
30.3 inches by Sunday night. Ridging persists at around 30.2 inches
over Lake Superior through Monday, followed by a 29.7 inch trough on
Tuesday as high pressure weakens and shifts to the East Coast.
